Here is a list of countries exempt of entry visas for Russia

Please, consider the below points to get familiarized how to organize your trip and get a visa to enter Russia.

1) RUSSIAN VISAS:
Russia is one of the countries that maintain visa regimes with a lot of countries.
Only nationals of the following countries do not have to have Russian visas when entering the country: Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan.

Nationals of all other countries have to have a visa when entering Russia.

2) VISA TYPES:
In order to enter Russia a person needs to have either

a TOURIST visa, or
a BUSINESS visa.

Both types of visa are issued based on a visa invitation issued by Russian authorities.

3) VISA INVITATIONS:
BUSINESS visa invitation may be obtained from your partnering companies registered in Russia. The process of issuing such an invitation lasts from 4 to 6 weeks. So, we strongly advise to apply for tourist visas.
